How to See Stored Credit Card Numbers on phone and iPod in Safari

You may find that you carry your physical credit cards less frequently if you use Apple Pay. Fortunately, AutoFill in Safari comes to the rescue.

ESSENTIAL NOTES

• If your phone or iPod has the AutoFill feature, you can access your credit card number without having the actual card close by. To view the credit cards that have been saved, open Settings, navigate to Safari, and then tap AutoFill.

• You can quickly remove cards from the list and change or add credit card information in Safari's AutoFill settings.

If your phone or iPod’s AutoFill feature has previously stored your credit card number, you can retrieve it from Safari if you need to access it but don't have the actual card with you. Here's how to make sure. To view a saved card in Safari on your phone or iPod, first go to Settings.

Go to Settings and select "Safari."

Go to Safari and select "AutoFill."

In the AutoFill settings of Safari, select "Saved Credit Cards."Enter your PIN or use Touch ID or Face ID to verify your identity when prompted. Following that, a list of credit cards that Safari has previously saved will appear. To view further information, tap any entry in the list. If Safari has saved the full credit card number and expiration date, you will see them on the details screen. In the upper-right corner of the details screen, tap "Edit" if you need to make changes to the card's data.Once you've finished editing, select "Done."Returning to the screen containing the credit card list, you can also add a credit card by tapping "Add Credit Card" and filling out the details, or you can remove a card by selecting it with a checkmark on the list, tapping "Edit," and then tapping "Delete."After finishing, leave Settings. Now you know where to look in an emergency to locate your credit card number. We wish you luck in finding what you're looking for!
